Introduction to numerical methods with applications to physics problems.
This starts with an overview of number representations in computers and
elements of a higher programming language such as C. The methods will
cover sorting algorithms, numerical differentiation and integration,
interpolation and extrapolation, least-square fitting, Fourier
transformation, and some basic techniques for solving differential
equations.
