This course is part of the Master's modules in Biology and Biochemistry. The scientific publication system is introduced, modern forms of publication such as preprints are discussed and the recognition of fake journals is taught. In addition, the most important aspects of the german copyright act for teaching and research are highlighted. Science is increasingly opening up beyond the boundaries of its own community. In this course, you will learn which components of the Open Science movement play a role in this. Furthermore we will look at aspects of AI support for your scientific work.
