Welcome to the guided exercise course in the module "Environmental Change and Natural Risks - A Biogeographical Perspective" (winter semester 2023/2024) by Prof. Hannes Feilhauer and Claudia Guimaraes-Steinice.
The guided exercise course involves applying Biogeography concepts with actual ecological data. A short introduction to each topic will prepare the students to explore and analyze the data using R and QGIS software. Claudia Guimarães-Steinicke will instruct this course, and it will be in the English language.

The course starts on October 16th.
We
will use R software for the statistical analysis. Please see the below links for the download
and installation of both software.
Course format: Mainly in presence and virtual.
In case of virtual exercises, a Zoom link will be provided.
