This is the module Theoretical Physics 2 - Elektrodynamik 1 (12-PHY-BIPTP2).

Lecturer: Dr Marc Casals

Content: Maxwell equations; Introduction to mathematical background (vector analysis, solution methods for partial differential equations); Electrostatics; Magnetostatics; Electrodynamics and waves; Electromagnetic potentials.

Lecture times:  Mondays 11:15-12:45h (thH) and Thursdays 13:15-14:45h (KIHS).

- Tuesdays  9:15-10:45h at ITP, room 210: Dr Marc Casals

- Thursdays 15-17h
- Fridays 17-19h

Marking: at least 50% in the weekly homeworks is needed to be able to sit the exam. The homeworks are to be delivered and corrected via Moodle.
