The objective of this course is to understand the key economic challenges of the EU and to generate proposals to tackle them. During the course, the students will analyze specific situations related to European economic affairs and the role of EU institutions, including: EU integration, regional development, financial crisis, the euro, balanced budgets, international trade, competitiveness and BREXIT. The idea is that students feel comfortable analyzing current EU economic affairs within the context of Central and East Central Europe.
