English is the most important world language. It is also the foreign language mostly spoken in South Korea. There are a bunch of English materials about South Korea with which we learn more about this country.
In this course, students translate (South Korean) English texts about interesting topics such as (Pop) Culture, Language, Education, and Social issues of South Korea into German.
Apart from doing translation work, a presentation about intercultural topics concerning South Korea and South Korean English will be given by participants every week. The topics of the presentations are related with the texts that will be translated.
After participating in this course, students will be able to broaden their knowledge horizon about Translation of English in South Korea.
