Please join us for a poetry reading and workshop of the three Irish poets Jessica Traynor, Seán Hewitt and Stephen Sexton. The reading will take place on 6 June 2024 at 7 pm at naTo (Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 48, 04275 Leipzig).
As part of their Zeitgeist 24 Reading Tour, three award-winning Irish poets will be visiting Leipzig, Berlin and Wuppertal in June 2024. These three younger Irish writers have achieved success and recognition both in Ireland and abroad with poetry that both speaks to and challenges the Irish canon. Join them for an evening of poetry on desire, identity, place, memory, love and loss.
They will also be offering a poetry workshop on 7 June 2024 at 11 am in the GWZ, Room 5.316 (Glaskasten). Please register here on Moodle if you would like to attend the workshop. This is a very special opportunity to hear three exciting poets read from their work. You can join in the discussion, talk about poetry and work with our three guests.
