The lecture ‘A Political and Cultural History of the British Isles’ is complemented by this practical course (Übung) which will focus on central texts (written documents, images, audiovisual texts etc.) in British history from the Romans around 100 AD to the present day. It aims at providing a deeper understanding of important events and developments by offering an exemplary analysis that will not just deepen your knowledge of British history, but is also designed to develop your skills of academic analysis.
