Social and political learning encourages participation and the building of a democratic, inclusive and environmentally sustainable society. This learning takes place both in children's social and family lives and in schools, especially primary schools. Currently, Sachunterricht in primary school develops methodologies and practices to initiate and promote children's social and political learning from a social science perspective. One of the principles of Sachunterricht and social sciences includes exploring and understanding the political and social dimension of the environment and developing skills for dealing with things in the world, including the ability to act in democracy and inclusion. Sachunterricht follows the constructive multiperspective approach and makes it possible to explore other places for children's learning, such as the museum. This space is favourable to children's learning in terms of their political and social formation, their critical and autonomous spirit and their impact on society's actions. The museum as a space for political and social learning is applied in the curriculum and teaching of primary education and contributes to the practices of historical and sustainable construction of objects, as well as to the active role of children in the construction of dialogical political and social relationships between children and objects and their environment.
