In the writing workshop, you will learn to convert your Bachelor's thesis into an article suitable for publication. We will familiarize you with the academic formats presentation, abstract, article, and peer review, all of which you will practice during the semester. At the beginning of term, you will give a presentation on the subject of your Bachelor's thesis in a conference-style format. The rewriting of the thesis will be done independently in the course of the semester, with the instructor providing supervision where needed. By the end of term, seminar participants will give each other feedback on the completed abstracts and essays through peer reviews. Students who have not written a standard Bachelor’s thesis will choose an extended essay or comparable piece of academic writing as the basis for the journal article.
